Realtime Fraud Protection Systems

The PayChannel Risk Management Module is a proprietary fraud analysis and prevention system developed in consultation with a leading UK acquiring bank.

The system offers as standard the industry Address Verification System (AVS) and Card Security Code (CVV2), in which the cardholders address and card security number are checked with those held by the card issuer.

Risk Management also offers additional security and fraud analysis for companies accepting payments in business areas perceived to be high risk, helping business minimise their chargebacks and liability for fraud.

Risk assessment occurs in real time during the transaction request, using an algorithmic scoring system to accept or reject a transaction. The system uses scoring and rules based technology, configurable by each merchant and cardholder, to provide optimal risk protection and transaction analysis.
